Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse This position is based in a healthcare facility where the nurse provides specialized patient care in the cardiovascular laboratory setting. The role involves monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating closely with physicians and laboratory staff. The nurse will deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active state Registered Nurse (RN) License required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate required, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate required upon hire and to be maintained current. One (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Laboratory doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or experience in cardiovascular or critical care settings are advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for assessing procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness, assisting with the maintenance of equipment and inventory, and obtaining supplies for individual cases. Continuous monitoring and recording of patient condition during procedures are essential. Participation in performance improvement and quality assurance activities is expected.
