Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Glendale, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department, with a focus on providing high-quality maternal and neonatal care. The position requires adherence to professional nursing standards and organizational policies to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts with a shift time of 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice (Arizona), BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months. Experience in labor and delivery is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred. Additional related education and/or experience are advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for comprehensive patient care, including assessing maternal and neonatal status, formulating and executing care plans, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Documentation must be accurate, timely, and compliant with policies. The role may include supervising staff and promoting excellent patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and participation in quality improvement activities.
