Operating Room Tech / Operating Room Open Heart

Job Summary:
The operating room open heart technologist position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves working in a high-acuity environment with a focus on cardiac robotics, LVAD, and heart transplant procedures. The position requires rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights, with call responsibilities and weekend work as needed.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights (rotation between days, evenings, nights; call response time: 30 minutes)
• Hours Per Week: 40 hours (except during orientation week)
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a cardiovascular technologist or equivalent, minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac surgery or operating room setting, Level 1 Trauma experience, recent travel experience, experience with cardiac robotics, LVAD, and heart transplants, knowledge of general, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, and trauma procedures, and must meet flu and COVID vaccination requirements (medical or religious declinations accepted).
• Preferred Qualifications: Do not need to scrub in the procedure.
• Additional Information: No float rotation required. Time off requests must be responded to within 48 hours; once an offer is accepted, it cannot be modified.
