Registered Nurse / Operating Room

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Medical Scrub Technician in Machias, Maine. This role involves providing safe, effective, and patient-centered care during the perioperative period. The technician must be capable of scrubbing, circulating, and working in the recovery room as needed, ensuring effective communication with the perioperative team and maintaining confidentiality throughout their duties.

Job Details:

• Location: Machias, Maine, United States
• Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred; Covid-19 vaccination is required; 1 year of experience in an operating room setting; ability to scrub, circulate, and work in recovery as needed; effective communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification.
• Additional Information: Responsible for supporting the perioperative team in a hospital setting, ensuring patient safety, and delivering quality care throughout the surgical process. Must be adaptable to inpatient perioperative procedures and support the organization`s mission, vision, and values.
