Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse (Registered Nurse) in Augusta, Georgia. This position involves providing perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The role requires clinical expertise in circulating surgery cases, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts available: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 6:45am to 7:15pm or Monday through Friday from 6:45am to 3:15pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire: RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - Registered Nurse with Multi-state Compact, BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support, and BLS-Instructor. A minimum of 2 years of OR circulating experience, including previous travel circulating experience preferred; level 1 trauma experience is a plus. Must have completed an accredited school of nursing with clinical hours, with less than 1 year of experience minimum.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in operating room settings, especially in a trauma or level 1 trauma environment, is highly desirable. Previous travel circulating experience will be considered an asset.
- Additional Information: Scrubs are available for OR shifts. Shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis with opportunity for on-call shifts in a 4-week schedule. The position is at a healthcare facility located in Augusta, Georgia.
