Registered Nurse / Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse Manager position in Portland, Maine. This role involves overseeing catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on patient care and team coordination. The position requires providing leadership in a fast-paced environment with rotating weekend call and holiday coverage.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, with weekend rotation once per month, and one night on-call per week from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, at least 2 years of experience in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology; location: Portland, ME; first-time traveler: No; experience in cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, IR procedures (paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy tubes); experience supporting a multidisciplinary team; minimum 0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing a cardiac cath lab team, overseeing patient procedures, charting with Cerner electronic health record system, and using Pyxis for medication management. The RN supervisor on the unit will oversee the traveler during shifts. Scrub color provided is procedural, parking is free, and orientation period is dependent on experience.
