Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technician position located in Lakewood, California. This role involves providing specialized care in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures. The assignment spans 13 weeks, with a focus on maintaining high-quality patient care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for occasional start times at 0630, and one day off during the week.
  • Required Qualifications: One year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, current California State license in-hand, certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and BSN. Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and procedural sedation administration is required. All required certifications must be current and in-hand upon application.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record experience documented in work history.
  • Additional Information: The candidate must have a CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute (IN-HAND) for ER roles; float pool nurses are also required to obtain this certification. All submittals must include RTO confirmation if applicable, with no RTO within the first two weeks of the assignment and a maximum of 7 days permitted over the 13-week period. References from two supervisors are required.
  • Schedule & Hours: 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026.
  • Submittal Requirements: Valid California license in-hand, all current certifications, CPI Blue Card, and two supervisor references. No Nursys or background hits accepted.
