Registered Nurse / Intensive Care Unit

Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Aiken, South Carolina. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients with neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma conditions. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day. The position is scheduled for nights, with shifts consisting of three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3 x 12s nights, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor`s of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly desired; RN license required; at least 2 years of ICU Acute Care experience required; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; Crisis Prevention Institute`s NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course required; Cerner experience required; location in Aiken, South Carolina; no prior experience specified
• Additional Information: The ICU is a multidisciplinary unit caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients. Technology used includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and infusion pumps. Fulfills patient, family, and community needs by performing a variety of patient care functions in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
