Outpatient - Nursing

Description

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Outpatient Nurse to join our ambulatory care team. In this multifaceted role, you will provide high-quality nursing support to patients receiving same-day evaluations, treatments, and follow-up care across a variety of clinical specialties. You will play a central role in ensuring smooth patient flow, delivering evidence-based nursing interventions, and helping patients feel informed and supported throughout each step of their visit.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, performing medication reconciliation, and assisting with minor procedures, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic treatments commonly performed in outpatient settings. You will triage patient concerns both in person and by phone, manage care coordination needs, and collaborate with providers to implement individualized care plans. Additionally, you will deliver clear patient education on disease management, self-care strategies, and follow-up instructions to promote safety and optimal outcomes after discharge.

Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a steady but fast-moving clinic environment. You will work closely with physicians, medical assistants, schedulers, and interdisciplinary partners to ensure efficient operations and exceptional patient experiences. Requirements and Qualifications

- Active RN license

- BLS certification (American Heart)

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience required for Olaro; individual facilities may require additional experience
