StartDate: 2/2/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1722.00 - $1829.00

Floating: Within region and scope of practice Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: HPB Patients – Whipples, Liver Resections, Distal Pancreas/Spleen, Pancreatitis Women’s Surgery – Hysterectomies, Mastectomies Plastic Surgery – DIEP Flap (Breast Reconstruction), Panniculectomy Patient Ratios: RN: 1:4-5 LPN (if applicable): 1:4-5 CNA: 1:10 Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Drivers License and/or Insurance: RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Resource Team requirement) Skills required: Drain Care, Central Line Management, G/J Tubes, Heparin Gtt management, Cardiac Gtt management (ACLS), cardiac rhythm interpretation, NGT placement/management, management of various surgical drains Support within the Department: CNA Duties - able to perform blood draws, foley insertion/removal, standard patient care as assigned Charge nurse - Able to assist with patient care, med passes, & admissions; may or may not have an assignment IV/VAT Team - Available as a consult within the hospital Resource Nurse - Mentors available on night shift Telemetry monitoring/tech Technology/Equipment: EMR: Epic IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Phillips Unit specific equipment: Bladder scanner, EKG machine, transport monitor, bedside Tele monitors in PCU rooms Patient Safety Net
